Loon Lake

August 14th I went over to Andrea's house to watch a movie called Dororo and make some cookies. Then when I came home my dad gave me a trim.

August 15th my dad got hired to do a photoshoot at Loon Lake. He was going to photograph the boats for advertisment. We stopped at the Dollar Tree in Junction City to get some drinks. While we waited for my mom to come out we saw a woman outside talking to a guy and she looked a lot like Sis. Amber. We were kidding around and said, "what's Sis. Amber doing here??" I wanted to get a picture to show you guys but I didn't want her to see me pointing my camera at her lol. Then we went to Safeway to get something else. While Matt and my mom were in there Ben and I saw literally like 20+ motorcycles all coming to Safeway. I was like, "I wouldn't be surprised to see Uncle Bob in there....in fact, he's probably the leader." My dad told me they're probably a club so Ben and I gave them a name: "The Pink Bicycles.

Matt and Ben watching Spongebob on the way there.

I was watching an anime called The Law of Ueki.

As you know I get carsick, so I asked my mom to throw me these wristbands that help you not feel sick. She threw them back to me but Matt got in the way and it hit him in the head, lol.

The drive was about an hour and a half to two hours. When we got there my dad went into the office to tell the guy that we arrived. Matt took a picture of a little building that said "gas station" on it. He thought it was funny that the building is two stories high yet it's so small.

We drove down to where the boats were while following the guy.

We followed the guy over to the boats and he handed us some life jackets. We didn't know this but we ended up getting to ride the boats for free, it was so cool :D
My dad was using us as models.
My mom and I got in a pedal boat, my dad got in another one, and the boys got their own kayak.

There aren't any pictures of my dad in one since he took all the pictures. I did bring a camera but I didn't want it to get wet.

My mom was getting tired of pedaling so she switched with Matt.

Matt and I were trying to go faster than Ben, but no way could that pedal boat beat a kayak.

Matt then wanted to switch back to a kayak so him and Ben switched.
While Ben and I were in there, there were a lot of waves from the other boats and it was fun going over them. At one point we were kind of leaning towards the water since the waves were getting bigger and him and I kept getting wet. I felt like I was going to fall in the water so he was laughing at me.

These people were funny. Both of the guys had the oars and were trying to get to shore (haha, I rhymed) but one of the guys was leaning back too much and couldn't do it so the other guy was like, "we're not getting anywhere cause dum-dum here doesn't know how to paddle!" We were laughing when we heard them.

We switched boats one more time. My mom got in the pedal boat with Ben and I got her kayak. Kayaks are way better than pedal boats.

We probably were out there for about an hour then it was getting kind of hot so we wanted to get out. My dad got in a boat with a different guy so he could get more pictures. My mom, Matt, Ben, and I got lunch ready.

The people in the background have baby twins that were 10 months old. They kept crawling towards Matt and Ben and would stop and stare at them. It was funny. Then the boys went swimming but I didn't since I wasn't feeling too good. I just sat in the shade and watched them.

If you can't tell then Ben is the one standing up and Matt's in the water all the way.
My dad finished taking pictures of the boats and came over to eat lunch. Then he went back to the office to show the guy the pictures. I went with him since it was boring just sitting there and I watched more The Law of Ueki in the car while waiting for my dad.

When my dad and I came back we packed up to go to a different spot to swim for half an hour since the other swimming area was kind of small. Once again I stayed in the car and watched the rest of my anime. I saw this family standing outside that were playing this weird game. The mom was trying to get her younger sons to kiss her and if they did then they would get some chips and dip. One of the boys wouldn't so she said that his younger brother gets his chips and dip, but if he did kiss her then he would get all of the chips and dip. They were seeing how many chips they would get. It was kind of weird watching them do that but kind of funny.

Half an hour went by kind of slow for me, but when they came back we drove home. The trip wasn't as fun for me as everyone else since I felt sick that day, but the boats were a lot of fun. I forgot how I felt when I was on them.

aww, glad you got to forget your worries in the fun boats. I liked the dum-dum guys, they remind me of people I know.
