Sunday the 19th of April we had a birthday party for my parents. It was supposed to be a surprise but it's hard to keep secrets from my mom, she always hears something and figures it out. But it was still cool.
Before everyone came Kacia, Matt and I set everything up. Kacia and Matt did the decorations and I put the food in all of the dishes. Ben was working on this video for our parents but the video messed up and we couldn't show it at the party. It's a bummer, but we will fix it and have the brethen over to watch it, and when it is finished I will post it on my blog. Oh and when Kacia was putting balloons up on the wall she accidentally popped one and it popped right by her ear. It was so loud!
Everyone arrived and ate snacks while we waited for my parents to come home. When they did come we yelled "surprise!" and they had a blank look on their face. No they didn't, they laughed and had a grand o'l time.
We had some yumminumminess cake which was kind of like a remake of my parents' wedding cake. There were three different flavors. But I forget what they are....hahaha. I have a picture though.

I'll show a couple of pictures from the party, but I have a video showing more.

Bro. Jim closed his eyes lol.

Lighting the candles on the cake. Andrea put a million on it.

Whenever someone turns 50 they get......the HAT, dun dun DUUUUN!! Which is a hat meaning that they are old. My mom didn't want it.
Here is the picture of my parents with my dad's "chocolate moustache".
And here is the photo album that Andrea transformed into. Wait...that sounded weird. It sounded like she transformed into the album....ok she transformed their old white plain album into this, that's better :D
The party ended after they opened their presents and eventually everyone left. Kacia and I were sitting on our porch swing for a while just talking before she had to leave for her hotel that night to leave us the next morning :( I miss you best friend!! *Cries*....I'm ok.....
It twas a fun day though, I really enjoyed it. (Kyle and I recently started using the word "twas") I can't wait to put that other video on. It's of us Reed kids when we were little.
I forgot one last thing! Sis. Rechelle wrote a song for my parents it was really cool, I think it made my mom cry a little bit. It had a cool rythm too.

dude, that video was loooong. but to whoever sees this, at least skip through till they're looking at hats. Sister Vicki's reaction is sooo funny!
Yeah I know it's long. But it's the main thing on the post.
That has got to be one of the coolest cakes I have ever seen!
