I'm late, I know. But here's a quick post about Easter. I forget a lot of stuff..sorry.
After church (whatever date it was) we had a potluck dinner for Easter. We took a few pictures before we headed downstairs to eat.

After lunch we had dessert, and Sis. Judy dressed as the easter bunny and handed these long marshmallow candies to the little kids.

Yummy cupcakes that Kayley and Kara made ~
We played a bible trivia game after lunch.
The teams
~~~~~~~
Team 1 (Blue team) : Dad, Aaron, Levi, Ashley, Sis. Judy, me, Kayley, Sis. Michele, and Jeff
Team 2 (Green team) : Ben, Shannon, Sis. Rechelle, Bryan, Tony, Andrea, Mom, Bro. Jim, and Cheree
Team 3 (Pink team) : Stephanie, Kara, Lukas, Matt, Sis. Candy, Andy, and Bro. Ray
Team 3 won with 1,030 points. 2nd place was team 1 with 850 points, and last was team 2 with 790 points.
Kacia didn't get to play cause she was at work. In case you were wondering why I didn't mention her.
Our family was the last to leave, and me and Matt were downstairs and Matt poked me on the shoulder and I turned around and saw him like this
That night we went over to Jason and Nichole's to spend time with them. We hid Justin and Stephanie's basket for them.
Justin liked the golden grass in his basket.
May 22nd was an Asian kite flying festival. My mom and dad took me to it =D unfortunately we didn't get to see the kites, but we did get to see some cool performances which I would have rather have watched anyways.
It was at an elementary school.
Those 3 judges were giving away kites for those who won the kite flying contest.
The judges. I guess the woman on the left is a model for Abercrombie and Fitch.
That little girls face kind of reminded me of River's.
That is Mitsuki Dazai playing the koto. It's a really cool instrument and I want to learn it someday =D she sells her cds and sends 40% to Japan from the tsunami damage. I got one of her cds ^-^
I also want to learn to play this called daiko. It looks like a lot of fun~! This group called themselves Ahiru Daiko. Ahiru means "duck" and daiko is the drum.
It was really loud in there! Seriously, you couldn't hear anything. But I loved it, it made it more awesomer lol. The older people didn't like it though. I saw some of them covering their ears. Little kids too.
Woman on the right was the hostess.
In that area you could make kites for $3.
Really cool big kite.
The barongsai was there =D I love them! The little kids would go up and put money in its mouth.
It stands up really tall, it's cool.
The barongsai walked down each aisle and let everyone pet it. It put its head on my lap, heehee.
We went home after the performances and I took some sweet rice home with me.
Last part: Father's Day.
We had a bbq and then went on a short walk at the wildlife place.
We saw a turtle~! It was hiding though.
It looks evil o_o
It's like, "you better get that camera outta my face, or else..."
Hard to see but that's an elk print. I called it Yakul's print. It's an elk from a movie.
So we basically just saw birds, frogs, a turtle, and a bunny. I was hoping we could see a bobcat or something. My dad saw one-one time when he was by himself.
