Hi

So after church on Sunday the 10th I was just at home doing nothing. Then I look out the window and I see Kara walking up. I'm like, "ummmm...what? How did she get here?" and right when she was about to knock on the door I opened it, and it freaked her out. She was like, "whoa! You opened it RIGHT as I was putting my hand up to knock!"

Lukas was here too. It was only those two because Levi was sick and Kacia and Kayley stayed home with him. Matt and Ben were gone too, so it was just us three. We were going to play the Sims, but it wasn't working. So we went outside with Momo.

We were attacking eachother with the grass, and Kara even said "ow" when Lukas hit her. He's like, "yeah, I'm sure that hurt....this little piece of grass."

Momo was being weird (like always) and Lukas would say to her, "Momo, go get it! Get it, Momo! Get it!" and Momo would randomly start to dig in the ground all crazy-like, and she was barking. He was like, "why does Momo do that when I say that?" I'm like, "we say that to her when she gets her toys" and he's like, "so she thinks there's a toy in the ground?" I'm like, "I dunno."

Kara and I were talking about the movie Tangled, and she asked me if I cried when the main guy died. I honestly thought he was faking his death. Seriously! The whole time I was waiting for him to be like, "JUST KIDDING!" and he'd pull out a tomato from his shirt or something. The tomato because it looks like blood. But then after a while I realized he really WAS dead. So no, I didn't cry. Kara thought that was funny. I was like, "so you all thought he was dead?" and she said, "we KNEW he was dead!"

So then we went inside and played Rummikub. Kara would take a while whenever it was her turn, and me and Lukas would be super fast. He was trying to bug her like, "go Kara, go Kara, go Kara, go, Kara." And she was sitting in a squeaky chair, and she would purposely move so it'd squeak. And when she laughed it would squeak, which would make her laugh even more. And that made me and Lukas laugh.

Lukas won, and it was his first time playing.

Then Matt and Ben came home and Lukas ditched us for them. Psh!

Me and Kara babysat River for a little bit, and we took her on the trampoline. I don't know if she liked it or not cause her face was blank. But the way she was being bounced look like she was rocking out.

Then we made a commercial with River. I wish I could put it on here, but it's on Ben's phone and it's too big to send to the computer, and his chord doesn't work. Meh.

But it's about this new baby toy that speaks to your baby in its language to help babies drive better. So you see River driving bad, and then the baby toy talks to her in their language and River drives better. Then you see me driving with the baby toy in comparison, but I can't understand it cause I don't speak baby, so I crash.

The video was so cheesy! We weren't really driving, by the way. The crash was so lame, haha! All it was-was me "driving" and then all of a sudden I start yelling, and so does Kara. Yeah...that's our crash, lol.

After dinner they left. And after bible study the Salgado girls took me to a donut shop in Eugene called Voodoo Donuts. On the way there we almost ran over a raccoon. =(

It was a tiny little place, but it was yummy. They have weird kinds of donuts, like they put bacon on one. Kayley got that one. I got an apple fritter with cream cheese frosting. Kacia got a maple one. And I forget what kind Kara got. I think it had the jelly inside? But can't remember.

There are only two small tables, and there was a depressed person sitting at the table right next to us. And behind us was a big window, and this guy and girl walked up and were staring at us through the window. Actually they were kind of staring at our donuts, cause they wanted us to give it to them. The girl kept on looking at me, then my donut, then at me again. And the guy was staring at the depressed person for a long time. He was trying to get his attention and make him uncomfortable. The whole time we were just waving to the guy and girl and smiling, then they eventually walked away.

On the yellow wall they had underwear up there. Why are they selling underwear at a donut shop? It's so random! I wasn't that surprised though...afterall this is Eugene.

That blue light is a tear. It moved.

Kara played the piano after she ate. She's so good, I wish I could play like her. This guy was watching her for a whole song, and he looked so amazed.

An eating contest for donuts wouldn't be too bad. I would never do it, but it sounds better than hot dogs or hamburgers or something. Blegh.

Those are boxes of donuts. I'm sure people have pushed them down before. I thought about it...just kidding, lol.

Sunday the 3rd some of us went on a nature walk after church. We were getting ready at the grange to go on our adventure, and some of us waited at the grange while our parents got lunch for everyone.

I went into the back area where the bathrooms are, and Bryan and Levi were back there talking, and when I came in Bryan was like, "I temporarily forgot your name....what is it again?" I was like, "whaaat, are you kidding me?" then Levi was like, "her name is Catie! Catie! Catie! Catie!....that's your name, right?" I'm like, "......yes."

And Bryan asked me if I was going on the walk, and Levi was like, "yeah, the Reed family is going, and it's part of the Reed family." Bryan was like, "did you call Catie an 'it'? So she's not even a girl, she's an 'it'." and Levi was like, "sorry! I mean SHE'S part of the Reed family." and I'm like, "thanks a lot Levi, calling me 'it'."

Lol.

Then I was hanging out with the rest of the kids at the grange, and we were all standing in a circle and talking. And me and Kayley were chewing cinnamon gum that Lukas gave to us, and Kayley told me that Kara doesn't like the smell of that gum. So I looked at Kara and I ran after her trying to breathe on her, and Kayley did the same. We were like, "let's breathe on Kara with our cinnamon gum breath!" Kara didn't like it lol.

MISSION SUCCESSFUL.

Oooooooooooookaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ~ so then we left to go on our walk ~ Ben drove there for practice, and everyone followed us. Me and Matt were like, "...wait..Ben's driving?" then I was like, "we're all gonna die...."

Why am I smiling? I'm supposed to look scared >_< I was probably starting to smile cause I do that when I have to be serious.

By the way, the seatbelt was trying to kill me the whole ride there and back. It always gets around my neck.

Ben did pretty good driving there. My dad kept telling him to stop, or slow down cause he thought Ben was speeding through the place and not enjoying it. Matt and I were laughing cause I could tell Ben was a little stressed, and we're like, "I'm glad that's not us, hehehehehe."

Matt and I made our own Mad Libs game on the way there.

The smoky man fell off his hill and cried down hill. An old steak saw him and tried to help. The old steak offered him some wood. He whistled when he saw the wood. But then a headlice threw the mans wood and drank it into the forest.

When Headmaster Heffer sat in his box, he kicked so much that he started screaming his coffee. Later that night, he dropped using the paint. 7 policemen showed up with cats, attempting to lay him down. They had a punch trying to take his tree away. But in the end, they finally fell him by using their glasses.

We saw a bunch of geese in one area. My dad had me stick my arm out of the car window and get the picture before we passed them.

Now we're at our destination. The first thing we did was eat our lunch. My dad told Bro. Steve that there were picnic tables, and there was 1 table. Bro. Steve laughed and was like, "I thought you said tables...there's 1."

Being with everyone and walking in nature reminded me and Kacia of Camp Lane.

Lukas was walking backwards uphill. Then me and Kacia tried it. You can see Kacia in the way back doing it.

There was a little stream down there and Lukas was pretending to drop Kara in it.

Me and Kacia thought that big branch looked like an arm, because earlier Ben had moved it, and the way it moved looked like an arm. I was like, "it's like the trees in Snow White." and Kacia was like, "I was thinking that too!"

In this picture I was like, "let's pretend we're walking in the forest. Wait...we ARE walking in the forest!" Sometimes my brain decides to die and let me say stupid things. It actually happens a lot.

We got to a building, which was the end of our trail.

We decided to go back to our cars and drive to another place to walk. It's a board walk.

Ben ran up ahead to see how far our cars were, and we didn't see him for a while. We all just look over and see Ben running in the distance. We're like, "um..where's Ben going...?"

It was fun walking back to our cars. Matt and Lukas were messing around a lot, and ran like zombies. They kept messing with me and Kacia. Matt would try to put his water bottle in my jacket pocket, and I tried to put my gum wrapper in his pocket. And Lukas kept asking people if they could carry his jacket. He was telling Levi that it would make him warm, but Levi didn't want to carry it. So then he asked me if I was cool enough to put his jacket in my bag, and I said ok, but Bro. Ray was like, "Lukas, you're a big boy, you can carry your jacket."

Then he asked Kayley to carry it and she was like, "noooooooooooooo."

Then Ben finally showed up out of nowhere while we were looking at a bug.

This was when we got back to our cars, and Kacia wanted to take a picture of me sitting with the flowers.

This swamp messed with peoples minds.

It's really small and hard to see, but that is a frog we saw. I thought it looked like a pickle.

For this picture Bro. Ray and Sis. Valerie both had their camera out, and Bro. Ray was like, "ok, smile!" and Lukas was like, "which camera?" then Bro. Steve laughed and looked at me and was like, "did you have your camera out too?" I said no, and he was like, "you should have had it out too, it would have been funny."

I don't even know what that is supposed to be cause I didn't go in. I think it's a resting place or something.

Those looked like caterpillars, but they're just stuff off of a tree.

Ben, Kayley, Bryan, and Levi found a way to get down there. They got called to come back though.

During that trail Lukas and Matt were behind me and Kacia a lot, and they kept on stepping on our shoes, and Matt even made my shoe come off. It was easy though cause those shoes are too big for me. They always came off my feet when I played tennis at school lol. I would be playing, then all a sudden they'd slip off, and I was like, "wait! My shoe came off!" and the other kids would be like, "again?"

Lukas randomly started singing the Pokemon theme song. Then him and Matt ran up ahead while he was still singing, and they passed by Sis. Valerie and she looked back at me and Kacia with a weird expression, lol.

We went home afterwards. We went on our walk around 12pm and went back home around 4pm.

That night I babysat Justin and Stephanie.

We had breakfast for dinner.

I don't really eat it whole like that, lol. Actually, I was eating like that for real because the french toast was hard to cut, and my hand hurt, so I just ate it whole.

After I took that picture I set my camera down and accidentally knocked my cup of milk down. All my milk poured out onto their table and cd case. I also made like 4 other messes, and kept dropping things. I was really clumsy that night. And my niece and nephew didn't make a single mess, and they're 6 and 2 years old! I'm clumsier than little children.

When they were in bed I took some pictures of myself, cause I had nothing else to do.
