Christmas singing

December 19th 2009, was our Christmas singing.

We went to the place that's by the Morton's house and had it there. For dinner we had Mexican food. While we ate, Bro. Steve got on the mic and told us that when we were done eating then we were going to start the singing, and to look out for cords and such. He was like, "so watch your little kids so they don't trip over the cords...which is like, two kids," then he said, "and no, I don't mean you Ben, " everyone laughed ^_^

After the singing we got dessert, and then we cleaned up the place and went home.

It was a short program, but it was still fun.

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day

We invited some of the brethren to celebrate New Year's Eve at our house.

In the beginning we hung around and ate lots of food. (Especially Sis. Shannon lol)

She kept telling me that she was going to stop eating, but she didn't and kept getting more.

The first game we played was a Bible game. I don't even know the name of it, but it's a trivia game. There were two teams and one team would ask the other team a question and that team had to try to answer all 10 questions. I think you only have 1 minute.

The team I was on won, but the other team was so close to winning too. They were always right behind us, and if we hadn't answered that many questions at the end, then the other team would have won.

The second game we played was the Name Game. That was probably the best game we played. All the games were fun, but everyone seemed to really like this one. There were more females than males so my mom went on the male side. Sis. Shannon called her Bro. Janni, lol!

My dad would tell people whose name to call because he "knew" which name everyone had, before the game even started. He said that Andrea had Bro. Aaron's name and for Jeff to say it. Everyone was like, "do it, I want to see if Bro. Curtis is right" but Jeff just said my dad's name, and that's the name Andrea had. Everyone was like, "whoa! Good job Jeff!" but it was bad for the girls because Andrea was sitting in one of the 4 chairs. We played that game 4 times, and the guys won all 4 games! The guys were saying how their memory is bad, and Sis. Shannon was like, "I don't want to hear you guys say you have a bad memory anymore, cause it's not true!" They do have a good memory while playing that game. Some of us wanted to play another round, but I think some of the girls were discouraged from losing 4 times lol. So we played Charades. Before I show the Charades videos, here's the Happy New Year! video.

Now here are the Charades videos. Andrea and I made all the cards, and when Sis. Ashley heard that, she said something like, "if Andrea made the cards...oh no......but if Andrea AND Catie made the cards...this is bad." lol.

I'm putting two videos of Sis. Shannon and Bro. Aaron because I liked the first one they did better, and after the second one other people were doing funny stuff.

I'm also putting two of Ben and Janean because the first one was funny, and the second one you see Ben dancing a little lol.

Everyone stayed until around 2:00 am playing Charades. It was a lot of fun =D

One of the cards that I wrote down for Charades was "Annoying Oregon Duck Fan" and Ben was showing Sis. Shannon what he could have done if he got that card. Then she said something like or you could do this and she pretended to sing this one song, I think it's called "I Love My Ducks" or something. And Ben and Bro. Aaron were saying that the song is cool and it's not annoying, then Ben was singing a little bit of it. So you can hear him sing a little haha.

Happy New Year!!

On New Year's Day Cheree came over to my house to hang out while everyone watched the Rose Bowl. We were the only ones at home though, everyone else was at the Morton's house. Her and I basically just wrote to our friends online, and called our friends to have them ask us random questions so we could make a video of us answering them. Other than that, we didn't do much. But today (Saturday) her and I made the video of us answering them. So here it is. Oh yeah, and throughout the video there is a thing in the middle of the screen, so just ignore it. It will go away from time to time, but it comes back.

After we made the video we played the video game; Kingdom Hearts. Then she played a Lego game, and soon after that her mom picked her up.
