Salgado's in Oregon

Sunday, November 22nd the Salgado's came over for lunch and dinner after church.

When they got here we went outside to swing. It was pretty cold that day and Kara wanted to go in so Ben went with her to play video games. Kayley, Levi, and I stayed out to play.

We pretended that we lived outside and liked to play all day. Then Levi said there was a pretend stream of water we had to cross, by our neighbor's swing. So we ran over there and swung on the rope swing across the stream. Then we played hide and seek but didn't finish because we got called in to eat lunch.

We made a movie after lunch. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense so I'll explain the missing stuff that we didn't put in the movie....cause we forgot to lol.

In the movie our father was half blind so he accidentally named the girls boy names, and the boys had girl names. Our dad and dog die and we have a burial for our dog. Ben is attached to this baby toy and won't give it up. Then at the end Matt comes and says we've been practical joked and our dad didn't really die but our dog did, and he did that because he wanted Ben to let go of his baby toy. The last thing is, in the beginning Kara is just a random person telling us the bad news, then the next time you see her she's our sister. Hopefully the movie makes more sense now that I've explained what it's about.

We played Phase 10 after the movie. I think Matt won, Kara and I tied, and I'm not sure what place Kayley got. Ben was playing with Levi basically the whole time after we filmed the movie. That was cool of him, Levi really liked it. Then we played Apples to Apples for a long time. Kara went to play with Ben and Levi and Matt joined Kayley and I to play Apples to Apples. That went on for a while, like an hour maybe, then Kayley and I went in my room to play the Sims game. It was dinner time so we went down to eat, then after dinner we went back up to finish our Sims game. Kayley and I made Kacia, Megan, Lukas, Kyle, and ourselves in the game and all our rooms were upstairs. The girls' rooms were the biggest ones and we made Lukas's room the smallest one just to be funny. A while later Bro. Ray came in to tell the kids they had to go and Kayley and I showed him the rooms we made. Kara didn't totally like how we made Lukas's room really small, but Bro. Ray didn't mind. He was like, "So? With a bigger room he has a bigger mess."

So true.

Tuesday, November 24th Kacia spent the night at our house. When she got to our house we went outside to swing. It was around 6:00 or 7:00 pm so it was dark out. Matt and Ben later came out and we played frisbee. Ben went inside to play video games with Jeff, and Matt, Kacia, and I played hide and seek. I was "it" first. Kacia made it to the base, which was the swing, so I just had to find Matt. After a little while I finally saw him behind this tree and he ran to the swing, but couldn't get it because Kacia was swinging so I still had a chance to tag him. We were running around Kacia for like, 10 minutes straight and then he finally caught the swing. Matt was "it" for the second round. He found me and tagged me, but Kacia made it to the swing. We were like, "where you are hiding??" because she always makes it to the swing, but she didn't answer because she said she wants to use it again. Kacia was "it" for the last round. I don't think she caught Matt, but she got me. It took a while for her to find me though. I was hiding behind our Christmas trees and it was hard to see me. Everytime I was about to run for base, she'd appear and I knew if I ran she'd catch me. But in the end I just gave up cause she was right by me and I knew I wouldn't get past her, plus she wanted to go in because it was cold.

When we got in we took some pictures before dinner.

A lot of the pictures are either blurry, or have a weird color cause I didn't want my flash on. It made us look sort of weird-ish. It was funny because in a lot of the pictures we took, Kacia would almost always be the only one who was blurry. She was like, "what? again??" lol.

Matt held one of my plush dolls in the picture and tried to make him perfectly still while the rest of us were blurry. But it didn't turn out like that.

We took a lot more blurry pictures but that's all I'll put on my blog.

After our photoshoot we went in the boys' room to play Guitar Hero.

That was a fun night. We went to bed after that. Then the next day Ben had classes so Kacia and I were the only ones home. We played cards and jumped on the trampoline while she waited for Bro. Aaron and Sis. Shannon to pick her up.

Friday, November 27th Kacia spent the night again. We made a movie that night, but I'm not putting it on my blog. We also played Apples to Apples again that night. That game is really fun. I'll just tell what cards we got instead of pictures.

I think we went to bed after that and in the morning Kacia and I watched an episode of The Office while we ate breakfast. Then we got ready for the day and played cards until Bro. Ray came with the kids to pick her up. Then that night my mom, Ben, Andrea, and I went to the Pelkey's house for a visit.
