Hello everyone!
So my first post is about my Grandparents visiting us from California. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Judy. They arrived at our house on July 21st and brought gifts for Stephanie and Justin. The bags contained toys and lots of clothes. It was nice seeing them again, I think the last time we saw them was sometime last year. Sorry but I didn't really take any pictures. They ate dinner with us that night and we talked with them for hours until they left for their hotel around 11:00 pm.
The next day they took us to Dairy Queen for lunch then we went to Eugene because they wanted to get Justin a jumper. We found one at Toys R Us, it's a really cool one too because he can jump, spin around, and has a lot of toys hooked onto it including a little keyboard. My mom dropped me off at Barnes and Noble so I could get a manga. Manga is a Japanese comic.
We got home I'd say around 3:00 or 4:00...maybe even 5:00 pm, and my Grandparents put the jumper together before Jason and Nichole came over. They finished it after about an hour and a half or maybe 2 hours, then Jason and Nichole got here. Jason and Nichole didn't know they were getting a jumper for Justin so it was a surprise for them. I took a video of them when they walked in. It is kind of hard to see, but Nichole cried when she saw it.
The first 40 seconds are boring so you can skip ahead.
So yeah, she was crying a lot you just can't see it. Stephanie and Justin like it too.
You don't have to watch the whole thing of the next video cause it's kind of long. But watch at the 55 mark.
There is a little mirror on the jumper and Justin noticed it. He kept looking in the mirror to see if he was still there. It was so funny. My Grandparents got a good laugh out of that.
That night my Grandparents took everyone out to dinner at the Steak House Grill in Junction City. That restaurant has suspended train tracks and trains drive by. I used to just sit there the whole time, watching those trains when I was little. There are peanuts in big barrels and you can just put a lot of them in a little pail and eat them while you wait for your food. Then you just drop the shells on the floor. There are a lot of shells on the floor in that restaurant. Ben and I are weird though because we don't like to eat the peanuts, we eat the shells cause they're saltier. Haha. Everyone ordered something different, but I forget what everyone got. I didn't exactly write it all down, but I do remember what Matt and I got. Matt got shrimp and I got a burnt hamburger lol.
While we waited for our food, my Grandma took some pictures. I don't have any though so I e-mailed my Grandma for the ones she took, but I don't have them yet because their e-mail isn't working. I will post those pictures later.
After dinner we went back to our house to hang out for the rest of the night. This video is cute. Jeff was playing with Justin.
The next day was the last day my Grandparents would be here but then were going to go to Portland which is about 2 hours away from us, to see our other family. So they came over for lunch and Amy and David came to see them too. We ate lunch and talked till Amy had to go to work at 2:00 pm and my Grandparents had to leave for Portland.
July 26th was Daneka's 2nd birthday. Her birthday is in August but Janean wanted to have her party in July.
Once again I don't have any pictures except one. My dad took pictures since I needed to charge my batteries up, but my dad didn't give me the pictures so I figured one is good enough. Plus I have a funny video of my Aunt Vicki playing with balloons with everyone.
The party was at our house after church.
After cake and ice cream Daneka opened up her presents. She got a lot of cool stuff. Then everyone left but Janean and Daneka stayed for a little while. I had to sweep so I got my mp3 player to listen to so it wouldn't be as boring, and Daneka saw it and asked me if she could listen to it. So I put my headphones on her and played the music. She was dancing a little bit. Those headphones are really big. Andrea got them for me years ago because they have good bass.

She's so cute ^_^

That video of Sister Vicki was so funny. Aww, cutie pie little Daneka. She's looking more and more like Mommy as she gets older.
Kacia, actually it's Nicole, not Christine. Pretty good post Catie.
I love the video of Sis. Vicki! I don't think I've ever seen her just laugh and have fun playing like that. That was great!
@Kacia - Yeah I know, me and Ben are weird for liking the shells lol.
@Ben - Actually her name has an "h" lol.
@Sis. Valerie - Really? It's really entertaining, hahaha.
You guys eat the shells??? what? thats definately different! Dont you guys feel weird eating them? its kinda like eating black watermelon seeds... like you arent supposed to! But thats cool that they got a jumper. :)
oh yeah i wish that the bar had that peanut rule because i would never have to vacuum! it would be great! :)
@Twins - Yes I already know we're weird. I don't know why we eat them, they just taste good. If it felt weird eating them then I don't think we'd eat them lol. I mean if it was like eating a black watermelon seed then I wouldn't, but we don't think of it like that.
Yeah that'd be cool if it did, hahaha :D
Actually I do eat the black watermelon seeds, and it doesn't feek weird.
I don't mind eating the black ones I just don't eat them if I can avoid them cause I don't know if you're supposed to. But if I eat one it's not a big deal.
