Company over

After church on the 24th we had the Cornwell's, Sis. Sharon, Janean, and Daneka over for lunch. We got the phone call that Sis. Ashley had her baby. That was nice to hear, I'm glad everyone's ok.

Cheree also was here, she had spent the night on Saturday since Sis. Ashley was going into labor. Us kids went outside to swing while lunch was being set out. Dawson was playing with Momo and then Momo licked him and he ran away saying, "Momo doesn't like me! She licked me!" Cheree and I laughed and said, "when dogs lick you it means they like you." He was like, "oh" and went back to play with her. Karly was asking me if my dog's name was Momo, or Moomoo. Maybe we should change her name to Moomoo since a lot of people think that's her name, lol. Bro. Steve calls her that to be funny.
My dad whistled for us to come in to get lunch. On the way there Cheree and Dawson were talking about super powers. Dawson told her she has a lot of them, and he has one. Cheree was saying what all she could do like: moving a tree with her hands, flying, tying her shoes with her mind, etc. Then Dawson said he had all of those too and Cheree said, "nope, you told me you had one and I had many, so you can't change it now." He was like, "I change my mind!" But she wouldn't let him, lol.

Matt told me that Dawson told him that brownies give you super powers, but cookies don't. Man, now I want some brownies.

We ate outside and talked about making a movie. Karly really wanted to make a hunting movie, and she wanted me to tell the boys, "hey guys, Karly wants to make a hunting video", then she'd say, "yeah! I really want to make one!" She was planning how we'd say it. She's so funny.

Daneka loves Momo a lot. She always hugs her, it's so cute. I was inside putting my dishes in the sink after lunch, and Daneka followed me and she was petting Momo. Momo then licked Daneka on the face and she started laughing. Then she held her arms out so Momo could lick her again. I was like, "eww, no Daneka." It was also funny because Daneka followed Dawson everywhere. I could tell he didn't really like it, but it was funny. She calls him a baby because Janean said she thinks every little kid is a baby. I would tell her what his name was and she kept saying his name over and over. She also likes to give "babies" hugs, so she hugged Dawson and he was trying to get away. Janean and I were laughing, and she told Daneka to stop.

After lunch we went back to playing. Dylan asked me if he could go in the tree house so I took him and Karly over there. The door to the tree house was shut, and Dylan was trying to open it, but couldn't. He said, "I can't open this, it's too hard." Then Cheree said, "no you're just weak." He playfully glared at her, then asked me to open it. I got a video of them, it's sort of long though.

Matt, Ben, Dylan, and Dawson played with the frisbee after they went into the tree house. Cheree went to get dessert, and Karly and I went to the swing. Karly was hanging upside down on the swing. She really loves monkey's, she told me they're not afraid of anything and she is a monkey because she likes to hang from the monkey bars and climb trees. She then wanted to get a brownie with me, and then we ate it in the backyard and she's like, "isn't this fun, just you and me?" That was cool because I'm always wondering if I'm boring to little kids.
Karly climbed one of our trees and she wanted me to take two pictures of her.
The boys came over after they ate their dessert and we were going to start our movie. We were waiting for Matt though so Dawson swung on this little rope swing that Andrea had made for us when we were little, and Dylan swung on our other rope swing. Daneka also came with us.
In this picture Dawson is saying, "she's not wearing shoes!"
Dylan told me that I am lucky because I get to have a big awesome yard. He also said we have the biggest leaves in the world, and that we could break a world record. These are the leaves.
I agree with him...about them being big.

Unfortunately we didn't get to make our movie because the Cornwell's and Sis. Sharon had to leave. Maybe next time. My mom took Cheree and I to Cheree's house so we could see the new Mayfield baby. Bro. Tony and Sis. Ashley were asleep, but Sis. Michele had the baby in her room so we got to see her. This was the best picture I could get of her. After dinner we went to the Pelkey's house to say goodbye to everyone. We found out that Dylan was going to stay for an extra 5 days! He's going to go home with the Pelkey's since they're already going to Idaho.
After our goodbyes we went back to Sis. Michele's house to see Sis. Ashley since she was awake. When Cheree opened the door for us, my dad took an unexpected picture of her and she told me, "do not put that on your blog!" So I didn't, lol.
New mommy and daddy with Josilyn (I think that's how Sis. Ashley spelled it)
We didn't stay for a really long time because she wanted to feed the baby and go to sleep. So we walked back to the Pelkey's house because we left our car there since it's not a long walk. Sis. Shannon was just leaving and Bro. Steve and Sis. Valerie were talking to her as she was walking to her car, then Bro. Steve saw us walking on his yard back to our car and he's like, "I'm calling the cops, there are intruders on my yard." Bro. Steve is really funny. When we were little he told all us Reed kids that there were monsters in the grass and they get you if you walk on the grass at night. I always avoided the grass every night until I was smart enough to know there weren't any in the grass.

See you next time!
