Andrea's and Ben's birthday

So this was May 30th on Andrea's birthday. I know I took a while to post. That is because I have been sick for a while. I am all better now so I feel like posting.

For Andrea we had her, Jeff, and Jason over. We had a bbq and ate around the camp fire. It seems weird that we had a camp fire because it was in the high 80's. I wasn't all thrilled about the idea, but it was still fun.
Momo with our flowers.
Jason and Ben having their little nerd conversation.
There's the birthday girl :D

Doesn't Ben look kinda creepy?
These following pictures might be a bit dark but it takes too long to brighten everything, and the resolution on our computer is kind of darker than other computers so if I changed it then it might be too bright and then I'd have wasted my time. So I hope you all can see them ok.
Ok, those movies were a joke present. I got Andrea something but my mom couldn't find it. She thought she left it at Walmart, so I took some of our highschool dvd's and cut out some paper and wrote musical on it for a temporary present for her. But, I have to say, Matt is the one who came up with that idea, so the credit goes to him.
This one is a little harder to see. She is holding a Casting Crowns cd.
The Sandlot is an awesome movie. I should borrow it from her sometime....
Awww. Wittle Ben is hugging big sister.

Andrea has been wanting a mixer. Now we can make cookies when I go to her house :D
When dinner was over, everyone went to the Cruise-in. (For anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's almost like a parade for cool-old-fashioned cars) I didn't go because it was going to be hotter there since we'd be in the sun, so I stayed home. So no pictures, sorry everyone. I can show you what kind of cars would be there though.

This one is actually in Junction City. It looks kinda like Harrisburg too so I got kind of confused.

This is Junction City too.

This too.
It looks like Junction City....I can't tell.

Now on to Ben's birthday.
We were going to play frisbee golf for his birthday, but it was too hot, so we went to Fern Ridge instead so we could go swimming. It was a bummer though because it was too cold to go swimming. What's up with that?? Oregon weather is difficult sometimes. But it still beats California weather :) Summer in the Winter? No thanks.
We got there I'd say around 3:00 or something and we set up our stuff at the picnic table then the boys played frisbee. Once again I had a headache, and I didn't feel like playing frisbee, so I played a game on Andrea's phone.
Jason, Nichole, Stephanie, and Justin met us there.

The birthday boy.

Justin likes Matt, he was laughing at him. Most of the time Matt will just look at Justin and he'll smile or laugh.
We ate hamburgers and hot dogs. It was super windy when we were eating. All of our stuff was flying off the table lol. It was supposed to be in the 80's that day, that's why we decided to come to Fern Ridge, but it felt like it was in the 60's because of the wind. Everyone wanted a jacket or something but none of us really brought one cause we thought it was going to be warm. We were going to have cake and presents at home because of that.
I must warn you that because of the wind, it is kind of hard to hear us talk. I just wanted to show you a little video of us and of the loud wind.

Before we went home, a lot of us played frisbee. This is kind of a cool car we saw.

Stephanie just threw the frisbee.

This video might be a little long since it's not very exciting, but it takes too long to shorten all these videos so I will leave it. Feel free to stop whenever you want though.

It was so funny because when they were playing frisbee Ben threw the one with the hole in the middle for Stephanie, and it went around her neck. Everyone was laughing a lot. I missed it on camera though because I wasn't filming at the moment, it's a bummer because it was so funny.
Some pictures of the place.
Now we're at home, going to have some cake and open some presents.

He had Mississippi mud cake. It is very rich and you can only have so much of it. I like sweet things, but this is like eating a lot of fudge at once, with extra sweet stuff like marshmallow. Oh yeah, for Andrea we had ice cream cake. It was really good :)
The next picture is kind of blurry. Sorry.

He finally has the whole set of Star Wars, yay!

Ben collects cars. He has a lot of them.

Calvin and Hobbes is awesome :D

Justin likes to follow my camera.

Sometimes when Jason holds Justin he says, "sit up by yourself" but Justin can't yet and he starts to fall forward but Jason is holding him.

They turned on the tv for a little bit after Ben opened presents. Although it's not the easiest picture to see, I think it's cute because Jason and Justin are watching tv....everyone else is too, but you know what I mean.

In the beginning of this video Ben is trying to get up off the floor like how Jason does it. Then in the end Stephanie is jumping and she wanted us to clap for her. It was funny :)
Later that night everyone went to see the movie Up. Because of how I was feeling that day I didn't go. I was bummed, but I just wanted to go to sleep, I didn't feel good at all. I am glad everyone else got to go though.

Since it is June 24th now (12:25 AM) I will say, Happy Birthday Megan! Happy Birthday to Sis. Rechelle and Lauren too!

I baked a cake for you! :D I wish I could make one like that, it'd be awesome!

That would be an awesome cake! Someday I want one of those cakes.. but frisbee golfing is so fun and the sail boats in the background looked awesome. So much scenery in Oregon! Thanks for showing us the cars you would have seen if you went to the Cruise-In, totally felt like I was there. I like those old school cars too. Now all you have to do is name all the old cars you just posted! just kidding.

@Kristen - I know, it's a cool cake. You should make a cake like that when I visit California :D lol, just kidding. But you do for sure have to make me a sign.
Oregon has really cool scenery. You should come see Oregon sometime :D
Ummm I would name all the cars but they didn't show what kind of car it was when I got the pictures. But I was totally going to name them for you lol.

old cars are cool to me, for, like, a second. but after that I just go, oh, ok, what next? I think they're cool for people who actually know about cars and can appreciate them though. Sounds like Ben had a nice birthday with the family. cool beans for you Ben and happy birthday again! Happy birthday to sister Andrea too!
