Company over

After church on the 24th we had the Cornwell's, Sis. Sharon, Janean, and Daneka over for lunch. We got the phone call that Sis. Ashley had her baby. That was nice to hear, I'm glad everyone's ok.

Cheree also was here, she had spent the night on Saturday since Sis. Ashley was going into labor. Us kids went outside to swing while lunch was being set out. Dawson was playing with Momo and then Momo licked him and he ran away saying, "Momo doesn't like me! She licked me!" Cheree and I laughed and said, "when dogs lick you it means they like you." He was like, "oh" and went back to play with her. Karly was asking me if my dog's name was Momo, or Moomoo. Maybe we should change her name to Moomoo since a lot of people think that's her name, lol. Bro. Steve calls her that to be funny.
My dad whistled for us to come in to get lunch. On the way there Cheree and Dawson were talking about super powers. Dawson told her she has a lot of them, and he has one. Cheree was saying what all she could do like: moving a tree with her hands, flying, tying her shoes with her mind, etc. Then Dawson said he had all of those too and Cheree said, "nope, you told me you had one and I had many, so you can't change it now." He was like, "I change my mind!" But she wouldn't let him, lol.

Matt told me that Dawson told him that brownies give you super powers, but cookies don't. Man, now I want some brownies.

We ate outside and talked about making a movie. Karly really wanted to make a hunting movie, and she wanted me to tell the boys, "hey guys, Karly wants to make a hunting video", then she'd say, "yeah! I really want to make one!" She was planning how we'd say it. She's so funny.

Daneka loves Momo a lot. She always hugs her, it's so cute. I was inside putting my dishes in the sink after lunch, and Daneka followed me and she was petting Momo. Momo then licked Daneka on the face and she started laughing. Then she held her arms out so Momo could lick her again. I was like, "eww, no Daneka." It was also funny because Daneka followed Dawson everywhere. I could tell he didn't really like it, but it was funny. She calls him a baby because Janean said she thinks every little kid is a baby. I would tell her what his name was and she kept saying his name over and over. She also likes to give "babies" hugs, so she hugged Dawson and he was trying to get away. Janean and I were laughing, and she told Daneka to stop.

After lunch we went back to playing. Dylan asked me if he could go in the tree house so I took him and Karly over there. The door to the tree house was shut, and Dylan was trying to open it, but couldn't. He said, "I can't open this, it's too hard." Then Cheree said, "no you're just weak." He playfully glared at her, then asked me to open it. I got a video of them, it's sort of long though.

Matt, Ben, Dylan, and Dawson played with the frisbee after they went into the tree house. Cheree went to get dessert, and Karly and I went to the swing. Karly was hanging upside down on the swing. She really loves monkey's, she told me they're not afraid of anything and she is a monkey because she likes to hang from the monkey bars and climb trees. She then wanted to get a brownie with me, and then we ate it in the backyard and she's like, "isn't this fun, just you and me?" That was cool because I'm always wondering if I'm boring to little kids.
Karly climbed one of our trees and she wanted me to take two pictures of her.
The boys came over after they ate their dessert and we were going to start our movie. We were waiting for Matt though so Dawson swung on this little rope swing that Andrea had made for us when we were little, and Dylan swung on our other rope swing. Daneka also came with us.
In this picture Dawson is saying, "she's not wearing shoes!"
Dylan told me that I am lucky because I get to have a big awesome yard. He also said we have the biggest leaves in the world, and that we could break a world record. These are the leaves.
I agree with him...about them being big.

Unfortunately we didn't get to make our movie because the Cornwell's and Sis. Sharon had to leave. Maybe next time. My mom took Cheree and I to Cheree's house so we could see the new Mayfield baby. Bro. Tony and Sis. Ashley were asleep, but Sis. Michele had the baby in her room so we got to see her. This was the best picture I could get of her. After dinner we went to the Pelkey's house to say goodbye to everyone. We found out that Dylan was going to stay for an extra 5 days! He's going to go home with the Pelkey's since they're already going to Idaho.
After our goodbyes we went back to Sis. Michele's house to see Sis. Ashley since she was awake. When Cheree opened the door for us, my dad took an unexpected picture of her and she told me, "do not put that on your blog!" So I didn't, lol.
New mommy and daddy with Josilyn (I think that's how Sis. Ashley spelled it)
We didn't stay for a really long time because she wanted to feed the baby and go to sleep. So we walked back to the Pelkey's house because we left our car there since it's not a long walk. Sis. Shannon was just leaving and Bro. Steve and Sis. Valerie were talking to her as she was walking to her car, then Bro. Steve saw us walking on his yard back to our car and he's like, "I'm calling the cops, there are intruders on my yard." Bro. Steve is really funny. When we were little he told all us Reed kids that there were monsters in the grass and they get you if you walk on the grass at night. I always avoided the grass every night until I was smart enough to know there weren't any in the grass.

See you next time!

A fun night

Two nights ago I was talking to Kristen on instant messenger, and she was telling me what all she's going to do on the 22nd. The day that they go to the Taylor Swift concert with Megan. Then she asked me what I was going to do on the 22nd, and I said, "school, chores, do nothing" and she was saying that hopefully Kyle gets on instant messenger to talk to me since they won't be on that night and I will be bored. So I told her to tell Kyle to get on, and I was going to text her two days ago to remind her to tell him. Well two days ago in the morning my mom told me that the Cornwell's and Sis. Sharon are coming to Oregon, and I was like, "psh, forget Kyle! I'm hanging with the cool people!" Haha! I'm just kidding, Kyle, you're awesome.

Anyways, so my dad said we could go see them and that was like all I could think about that day. I thought my day would be all dull and boring, so I was very happy. We left after dinner to go to the Pelkey's house. When we got there the kids were outside playing baseball. We said hi and went inside to see everyone. Then we sat down for a visit. At one point we were discussing Sis. Ashley and Bro. Tony's garden, and how moles were getting into it. Bro. Keith told the Mayfield's that he used to be an exterminator and was telling them what they could do to get rid of the moles. I forget what he said, but I know that if an animal ate the mole after you killed it, then the animal would die. So Bro. Steve was asking Bro. Keith about cats eating the moles (because we have a cat) and Bro. Keith said that the moles die underground, and Bro. Steve was like, "here's the Reed's cat.." and he was pretending he was our cat; digging. Then Bro. Keith looked at us kind of like "your cat digs?" Then I told them that our cat does dig sometimes and Bro. Steve said, "well, you've had your cat for a long time now, it'll be ok if it dies, right?" I said, "noooo, I don't want him to die yet." He said, "c'mon, work with me here." I was just thinking, "no way, I'm not risking my cat's life over vegetables." They also were talking about what Sis. Ashley will expect when she goes into labor, and Sis. Ashley was telling them that she has a lot of pains so she didn't know if it was going to go into labor, then Sis. Sharon and Sis. Valerie were both like, "oh, trust me, you'll know when it starts. You won't be laughing and joking like you are now." Then Sis. Ashley said, "Yeah, I know I probably won't be laughing." Then they both said, "Probably?? It's not "probably"...you won't be laughing." Then everyone laughed. But Sis. Ashley has never had a baby so it's ok, we understand.

During the visit I went outside to see the kids for a little while cause I wanted to play with them and take some pictures for everyone. (Kara was disappointed I didn't take any pictures for my previous post about Mr. Booth's toy, so I made sure to get some.) I didn't get very many good pictures, or very many pictures because Dawson was asking if I would play with him and I couldn't say no to him. I will make sure to take more if we hang out with them again, I hope we do. I will also take more videos, cause I didn't get any of them playing, since I wanted to play too.

When I came outside the kids were playing Capture the Flag. These were the teams (besides me.)

This video ended before I wanted it to. I didn't know that I didn't want it to end at the time, but after this video Bryan was going to try to get Dawson, and Dylan was hiding underneath their car and Bryan walked right past him and Dylan was trying hard not to laugh. When Bryan left, Dylan came out laughing a lot. I LOVE his laugh, it is so cute, so I wish I got it on video cause he thought it was so funny that Bryan didn't see him under the car. He then asked me where the flag was but I didn't know, but he found it in a bush. I think him and Stephanie won that round. After that I played catch with Dawson, and then he wanted to play on the teeter-totter with me and I'm like "uhh I can't sit on that, it was made for little kids" and he's like "yeah you can, you can spin on it too" and he showed me how. He was showing me all these cool tricks he could do. I love the Cornwell kids, they're so entertaining :D

We all went inside after that and I sat back in the visit. They were talking about babies since Sis. Ashley is due like....now. Actually, I think she will have her baby by tomorrow. Exciting eh? That reminds me of something funny that happened like 2-3 weeks ago. Sis. Ashley was talking to us at home and she's like "man, I feel so big" and I'm like "you are big" and she's like "thanks a lot, Catie."
I'm so nice ;) Bro. Tony thought it was really funny and kept quoting me.

Well these are the pictures I got.
All I did was pull out my camera, and he posed. I think he likes cameras.
I think Stephanie was waiting for Dawson to cross on her side (while playing Capture the Flag.)
This one might be kind of dark, and the quality is bad. But that was when Dylan was under the car.....as you can probably guess lol.

Karly was moving fast so she's kinda a blur. It's a cute picture of Bryan and Dawson. They were looking in the pool.

That is all of the pictures I have.

Bye bye!

Sunday the 17th

Our family had a little BBQ after church. It was in the 80's that day and it felt so hot to us since we're used to 50 degree weather. It's hard adjusting to that weather for us.
Momo is staring at our food. My dad was playing frisbee with Bro. Tony and Ben after lunch, and then I took my dad's place when he was done, and he took some pictures. My mom visited with Sis. Ashley underneath our tree while we all played. After frisbee Matt and I played with our koosh ball set while Ben and Momo rested. Ben joined us after his rest. Matt gave Ben his scoop thing and he swung on the swing. Ben and I played over Matt's head and Matt had to try to get the koosh ball. It's kind of like "Monkey in the middle." Matt looks like a little kid here. Right here Matt is going to try to grab the koosh ball.

Bro. Tony watered their garden while we played. My mom took a video of Matt, Ben, and I playing with our koosh ball over Matt's head, but Andrea and Jeff took the video camera with them on their anniversary and we can't off-load the video now. So I might just post the video later.

Mr. Booth's toy

This morning in my Maya class we created the mosquito from the movie; Bee. And we had a toy of him to look at to help us make him. Later during my photography class I guess Mr. Booth discovered that if you wind the mosquito up then it kind of hops fast. Ben said in his Computer Science II class this kid named Sam picked the toy up and wound it up and Mr. Booth was like "I didn't know it did that!" and he took the toy and wound it up and was all happy. He reminds me of a big kid, haha. So Ben said Mr. Booth got a smile on his face; the kind of smile that looks like someone has a funny idea. Mr. Booth hid the toy behind his back and brought it in my photography class and showed all of us what he discovered. Everyone was laughing because Mr. Booth was so excited about it. I wish I got a picture, or better yet, a video of this because it was so funny. After the toy finished hopping, Franklin was like, "cool, let me try!" and all he did was push down on the toy and it bent weird and looked like it broke. Mr. Booth had a shocked look on his face. Everyone was like, "you killed it Franklin!" and he's all apologizing. Then Mr. Booth got a squirt bottle with water in it and said, "I know how to deal with you" and he was going to squirt the water in Franklin's face. Franklin was saying that he could fix it and Mr. Booth was like, "Franklin, turn towards me" and Franklin quickly fixed it and said, "there! I fixed it!" and he wound it up to see if it worked, and it did. Then Mr. Booth quickly took it away from Franklin and went back to his Computer Science II class. It was really funny!
Mr. Booth wasn't mad at all, he was just playing around with Franklin. He isn't the kind of person to get mad real easily, especially over a toy.

I just thought it'd be funny to share some stuff about HomeSource once in a while.

Bangs

I have been wanting some bangs for a little while now, so I asked Sis. Ashley if she could cut them for me. She did Amy's and she did a pretty good job, so I trusted her with my hair. Even if she did mess it up, I'm not the kind of person to cry over hair. It will always grow back (hopefully...) So today she gave me bangs, and I think they're really cool :D

Ehh, this one is kinda dark. Here's another one.
It's funny that I'm wearing a jacket in the first picture. It was in the high 70's today, maybe even low 80's. But for some reason I have been kind of cold all day. Sis. Ashley said I'm a mutant, cause everyone else was really hot.

Anyways, that is my new hair. Well...my bangs.

^_^ bye!

Yay tennis!

Last night Matt took Ben and I to play tennis after work. It was a lot of fun :D We didn't get to get group shots though because there were people there and it felt awkward because they were just sitting there watching us. But next time we will. As we were playing we saw these people that were stranded. Their car broke down and they were waiting for these people to come help them. While they were waiting the boy that was with them was so bored that he kept running laps around the school. He was also doing these weird dances, it was entertaining to watch. I did get a little video of him, but he's not doing anything funny like he was earlier. Also it might be a tad bit blurry.

It was kind of hard to see him, but he was doing weird stuff like that, plus running.
The ball was going over Matt's head so he's making that face. He didn't pose for the camera, I just caught him like that. He looks like he's terrified lol.
Right here Matt is saying "it hit Ben in the head" while laughing.
The cool sky.
I stand very weird when I play tennis.

Ben does this a lot now. I am not sure why, but it's funny.

Matt might sound mad at the end of this video. He's not, he was just playing around.

I took a couple of pictures of myself on Matt's cell phone, and this one turned out ok. It's kinda close though, so beware lol.

Next time we will film us playing. Bye bye!
