Easter Singing

Saturday the 18th.

We had a singing for Easter this last Saturday. Kacia and Stephanie were "eating" plastic carrots. Poor children don't know the difference between real and fake food. After all of the singing was finished we sang 4 other songs as a group. Well, I didn't sing because my throat was hurting but everyone else did. I was sitting on the couch and Kacia came over and Ben took a picture of us. It's kinda dark because he should've got closer. But it's fine.
Kacia and I sang "If I Be Lifted Up" together but I'm not posting it because I'm all boring and she's all fun. I don't want to look all boring lol. But you will see that video somehow from someone.

Another thing, Matt didn't get to go to the singing because he had to work. In case anyone was wondering where he was.


I drove with my parents, Sis. Rechelle and Kacia to the place by the Morton's house. When everyone came we ate lunch. We had spaghetti, salad, and bread. Not sure if we had anything else. We finished eating and got to the singing. I will post some of the songs that were played.

I liked all of the songs, but I won't post all of them since there were a lot and I can't really put more videos on my computer since I have no room, on BOTH hard drives. I need to get rid of some stuff.....

Bro. Steve does the mixing for the music, and in this last video he messes with Sis. Ashley's voice. It was so funny! When she started singing everyone looked confused. I'm not putting the whole video on, just the part where he messed with her.

There was an intermission between one of those songs and we had dessert. But after the singing, we packed up and went home. Kacia spent the night that night and around 10:00 pm her, Ben, Matt and I went outside and played frisbee for a little while. Then we played hide an seek. Ben was the seeker. Matt hid behind our shed, Kacia hid in the grass and I hid behind the fence. Ben said he saw Matt first and he was pretending that he didn't see him so that Matt would get tricked. While he was doing that I ran to the swing which was the base. I was there for a little while then I helped Ben look for Kacia. In the end Kacia got caught too so I won. After that Kacia and I drove to Andrea's apartment to help her with some stuff with our parents' birthday party. We got home around 1:30 am and were really tired. I was so tired that I wasn't talking right. I was trying to explain something to Kacia while she was folding clothes. I forget what I was explaining, but what I do remember was that I said something like "when I was folding....I mean, when I was throwing clothes....wait, no!" it might not make much sense but it was funny. I was messing up because I was watching her fold clothes. It was funnier in person, it was one of those you-had-to-be-there kind of moments.

Thursday/Friday

Thursday the 16th.

Kacia had spent the night on Wednesday night and in the morning she went to the Morton's house for breakfast. She then went to help Sis. Ashley pack up. While she was gone I was getting my room ready with my mom for the Mayfield's. Kacia got back around 3:30 or 4:00 or something (I don't remember) and she helped us finish. Matt got home from work and Kacia, Ben, Matt and I made a movie. It was about a hobo living in my tree house. Matt was the hobo, Ben was this guy who always liked to train, Kacia was a hippie, and I was just a random person. We were trying to get him out of my tree house. I am going to post the movie but the beginning accidentally got taped over, so now we have to do a different beginning without Kacia. Sis. Ashley gave me an idea and it's pretty funny. So you'll just have to wait for it.

When we were shuffling our cards Kacia made this face and she's like "what if I was born like this." and she made this face:

In this last video I am reading a diary I had written while the kids were shuffling cards. I used the name Lafawnduh at the end to be silly. We were talking about the spelling of her name earlier so I just thought of that name. If you can't understand what I am saying then I will tell you. Sorry, I have a soft voice so it's hard to hear me sometimes.

We went to bed after that. And then on Friday Kacia stayed with us for the whole day. Her, Ben and I went to hang out at the mall. Ben had soooo much fun at the clothes stores lol! Nah, he was ok but didn't enjoy it. I prefer the gaming and bookstores more but looking at clothes isn't that bad. Ben and Kacia didn't buy anything, but I bought a manga and a video game. The game was only $5.00 and it looked like a weird game that I would like. I was like "hey Kacia, doesn't this look cool??" then I remembered she isn't a gamer and I was like "...nevermind..." I'mma nerd heheh.

We got lunch at the mall and then Kacia bought us a treat. She got Ben a cinnamon roll, and her and I got a mocha. It was yumminumminess. And then we went home and Kacia went to the Pelkey's for dinner and spent the night there. We took two pictures at the mall but not of ourselves. We would have taken more but this woman told us we can't take pictures in this one store, and then we just forgot about taking more in other stores. Here are the ones we took.
