Asian celebration and Downtown Eugene

Hey everyone, it's been a while lol. It's all Ben's fault that I didn't post because he was supposed to edit this movie that we made with Cheree so I had to wait. Just kidding, I guess it's not all his fault. I will post that video later since he's still editing it.

I forget how long ago this was lol, but I think it was last month when Jeff and Andrea took me to an Asian celebration in Eugene. I would post picture but for some reason I can't find them...*sniff sniff* So no pictures, sorry....but I will tell you what I remember from it. It was all in a big building and in the first room it showed some artwork. In one of the other rooms was a stage where they did some karate and it was also the little food court. In the last room was where you bought things, that was my favorite room heheh. I just wanted to buy everything, but not literally. I bought a parasol, and this is going to be shocking but it is a......I'm going to say it... PINK parasol! There I did it.....yes I know you all must look like this.
Except you don't look like a cartoon. But the pink one looked the most Asian so I bought it. I also bought a flute even though I don't know how to play it. I will try and teach myself though.
I just took these pictures like, 5 minutes ago. Andrea and I spent most of our time in the shopping area. Oh and Jeff wasn't there because he had already made plans so it was just us two. I saw like 6 HomeSource people there, it was pretty cool. I talked to a couple of them while Andrea took like half an hour to decide which color parasol she wanted lol. She actually took like 15 minutes, but it felt longer. Also in the shopping area was a stage where they played some music. It was really cool, I took some videos on my camera but since it was on my camera the sound sounds really bad and loud so unfortunately I will not put them up. Or if you did want to see it I could add some different music so it wouldn't sound bad, but then you wouldn't get to hear the actual music so nevermind lol. I'm like, rambling on.

It was really fun going there, and we had our names written in Chinese. I have a picture of mine but Andrea has hers at home so I can't show you hers. Here is mine, I forget the meaning but Andrea wrote it down somewhere.

When the shops were closing down we were leaving to meet Jeff so we could go watch Twilight, and we passed by this one shop and this guy asked me if I wanted a poster since no one bought it. I was like "nah, I don't want a free poster". No I'm kidding, I asked if I had to pay and he said no so I said "yeah sure!" This is my poster that I got.

Note: It isn't on my wall because my dad doesn't want pictures on my wall since we're trying to sell the house, so I had to put it on my floor with paper weights, a.k.a my plush dolls haha.

After the celebration we saw Twilight as I said earlier, that was a pretty good movie. My favorite character is probably Jasper (for those who have seen it, he's the guy who looks like he's in pain) That's how this girl in the movie described him.

Now here is the downtown Eugene part.
My parents took Ben, Cheree and I to just walk around downtown Eugene. Matt was working so he didn't come with us. We basically just walked around and looked at some stores. We went inside this cool toy store, and we went inside a candy store and I bought some strawberry pocky.

We walked past these stairs and for some reason I randomly wanted Ben to keep running up those stairs and I was going to add the Rocky theme song to it. Some people were watching us and this guy was laughing at us, it was funny. We didn't have a lot of time so I couldn't show a bunch of people following Ben like how they follow Rocky, but it's good enough.

Poor Cheree is trapped.

I look like I'm saying "who is this???"

That was a creepy painting on the wall that Ben was leaning against.

This too was another creepy painting on that wall. You can tell that this is in Eugene.

I hope this picture inspires you to make your bed. It inspired me, I make it everyday.

We went in this little Asian store and saw this cool table.

Since Matt wasn't with us I took a picture of this restaurant sign for him.

It is called "Belly"

For lunch we went to a 3 storied Carl's Jr. That is all for this post. Thank you for waiting everyone, I will try and do better on my next ones.

Awesome super-post Caddie! Wish I could have been there with you. That's funny that you saw so many Homesource kids at the Asian celebration, so was your illustration of my face. I think I actually transformed into a little cartoon head for that moment, so you were actually quite accurate. The ben vid was fuuny, but he was supposed to dance at the top of the stairs!! I also loved the telephone both. Favorite pics of the post.

@ Kristen - Oh ok so it was a month ago afterall, I was close enough lol. I will blog again soon, after everyone comments, I will probably blog tomorrow or something.

@ Kacia - Yes I know Ben was supposed to dance at the top of the stairs but my parents were up ahead and told us to hurry up. Sorry, if we ever do it again I will make sure he dances.
Oh so your face did change lol, cool.
