The Birthday Card

Today is Elli's birthday so my friend Tessa and I made her a card yesterday during Ben's dodgeball class.

We wanted to draw her in a rose because we heard a weird story concerning roses and blue blankets during our drawing class. Well we couldn't figure out how to draw a rose, so we asked her mom to draw one and it turned out a tulip. Then we asked our two friends, Luna and Kaitlin to draw one for us. Luna's looked like whip cream or dirt, and Kaitlin's looked like dino prints. It was pretty sad, so we just went with Luna's since it looked the best (sadly) and we wrote something about that being a rose so Elli would know it was one.

After we drew the card we wanted to take a picture of Tessa, Luna and I. Tessa's mom got my camera and pressed the button, but it didn't work so she kept trying and trying. Her son Ty wanted to try it. He's the 11 year old kid that drew "zombie shortcake". She finally came over to me to ask how to take it and I saw that it was recording. I had forgotten that it was on record mode! So she got a video of us three sitting there and smiling. There are 3 videos that are 6 seconds, and one of them is 8 seconds. It's not as funny as I thought but I'll still show you.
