I'm going to talk about my classes that I'm taking at HomeSource. On Monday I have draw squad 2 from 10:00 to 11:30 then I have photography from 12:00 to 1:30, and last I have tennis from 4:00 to 5:15. On Wednesday I have Maya from 8:30 to 10:00, then graphic design from 10:00 to 11:30, last photography again from 12:00 to 1:30.
First I'll talk about draw squad 2.
This class is probably my favorite one because I love to draw, and the kids in that class are very funny. We often talk about little kid shows. A girl in my class named Stephanie usually draws pictures of care bears, strawberry shortcake, and my little pony. The boys can't stand it! So yesterday my friend's younger brother Ty, drew a zombie shortcake! It was funny because all the girls were saying "how could you?" he was cracking up. Maybe my friend Tessa can e-mail me the picture that Ty drew and I can post it on here. It's not a bad drawing, he's only 10 lol.
Now I'll talk about photography.
Photography is kind of boring because all we have been doing is reading about different pictures and all about cameras online. But it is good also because we have to do writing assignments sometimes, so that's good practice. I do enjoy that class mainly because of the kids. They are always very bored and say that they don't want to read. This guy named Matt asked the teacher if she could read what we were reading to us. She looked at him weird and he told her that his mom still reads to him, then she asked how old he was. So that didn't work out lol.
The kids are so bored that they sometimes play online computer games, but the teacher catches them. Also, Matt left the room once for 5 minutes, and while he was gone Cortney unplugged his mouse and put it in her purse. When he came back he was looking for it everywhere and finally gave up and just sat there. Then she gave it to him lol. He said "I knew it was in your purse!"
Oh and sometimes we even get weird visits. Last week this boy named Joel came in and asked if we had a gold egg. My teacher looked at him weird and said "we don't have a gold egg, or any color of egg for that matter" then she told him to leave cause he was interrupting the class.
But we get to do cool stuff for this class. Last Friday was picture day and the photography class got to help. I helped take the ID pictures with my friend Kristen at 8:30 AM that day. It was pretty easy until I had to take pictures of the tall people. I had to adjust the height for the tripod and it was over my head so I couldn't see what I was taking a pic of. I'm glad they turned out ok cause I don't know what those pics look like lol.
This little girl started crying for my friend Cortney. I was so glad I didn't take her picture, I can't make crying kids smile. Not saying that Cortney can, but I don't mind as much if other people have to try lol.
Even though I like draw squad 2 more I wrote more about photography haha.
Ok next class is Tennis.
This is a very small class of 10 people. We always have to warm up first with sprints and other "fun" stuff. Yesterday we warmed up with a game of tag. It wasn't regular tag, but it was still somewhat fun. We almost always play a game called bump. We play on 3 courts. Only 2 people play on each court, and there is always one person behind the person playing waiting for their turn to play. That side is called the 'challengers' side. The other side is the 'champion' side. If the challenger beats the champion by one point, they switch sides. So now the champion is on the challengers side behind the next challenger. When the champion beats two of the challengers they yell "bump!" and the challenger in line on the next court has to move down to the court you were just on, and you get to move up and challenge the next champion. If you're a champion on the highest court then even if you beat two of the challengers you still stay there because you can't bump any higher. This is my favorite game. I also like this game called crazy game. It's something one of my teachers made up. We don't play it anymore, I don't know why. Basically it's 2 against 2 playing and the teacher starts the round for you. He hits the ball wherever he wants and we have to try to run to the ball and only let it bounce once. He usually hits it high enough to hit the ceiling and we have to run where it lands. And we have to hit the ball in the green otherwise it's out.
These games might sound confusing, so if you have questions you can call the tennis courts at 555-455-5565......just kidding haha. You can just ask me. And no, that's not their number so don't call it. I don't know if it's a real number, or what.
So now it's Maya time.
Maya is the program used to make computer animated movies like The Incredibles, Monster's Inc. etc. It's pretty easy to use, but there are a lot of things you can do. We're in the middle of creating a car. It's funny though because I was trying to make the fender and I asked my teacher how she did it, and she couldn't remember. So I asked the assistant if he could help, but he didn't know either. So the teacher and assistant couldn't help. Kind of weird lol. Well the teacher did help, but she made it look all weird, so my car's ok looking except the fenders. But it's ok, it's just something we're playing around with, just getting used to the program.
The last class is graphic design.
This is my second favorite class. Partly because of the kids as usual. But I also like being creative so in this class we get to be creative. We're going to make a calendar, and just cool stuff like that. We've been making backgrounds in photoshop and putting pictures on it.
Now the kids aren't super crazy, but they can get very loud and the teacher often has to make these 2 boys, Jeremy and Levi sit somewhere else. They like to find weird pictures for whatever the teacher is having us find pictures of. Levi kept looking at weird pumpkin pictures. This class is a lot quieter than my drawing class though. That class gets very loud and the teacher has to tell us to settle down.
I got fun classes lol. Except photography when we have to read haha.
We moved onto the Halloween section for costume ideas. Andrea and I were looking at the costumes and Matt was on the other aisle looking at the masks. Well he came back wearing this.
Then went back and wore this.
So then I went with Matt and tried on a Hilary mask.
We swam around for a bit but Cheree's ankle was hurting so we got out and waited for dinner.
Kacia and I saw a volleyball net so, her, Ben and I walked over there to play. We couldn't really hit the ball back cause we're lame, so we just played soccer. Soon after we were called for dinner.
After dinner Kacia, Cheree, Ben and I ran over to a playground before we swam. 
Ben found a ship and is getting away! Kacia, Cheree and I caught him and tied him up, then I became captain. I feel asleep during the job though, as well as Cheree.
Matt called over to us that he is ready to go swimming so we headed back. On the way, Kacia picked me some flowers! 
And then I crushed them :D
In the water we played different games. Once we pretended we were mermaids, but not regular mermaids lol, we were weird. We also played marco polo. It was a cool twilight swim. We did go back to the playground to swing but, the pictures are too dark and kind of blurry. I didn't take those lol.
But I did take this sunset shot.
I tried Kacia's glasses on, they're cool but blurry.
And now Ben tried her glasses on. Here he is pushing his glasses up the 'dorky' way
